Angie Mrau, RMT
Angie graduated from the 3000 hour program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2008 where her training prepared her to safely address soft tissue injuries, postural dysfunction, chronic pain, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, scar tissue and stress management. She has a special interest in perinatal care in which she has advanced training. Body awareness and health have always been important components of her life, she maintains her own health through dance, yoga, nutrition and physical therapy. Her passion for wellbeing motivates her to have an impact on others who are looking for improvement on their path to wellness. Angie is also a certified yoga instructor and is able to incorporate the benefits of yoga into her practice when suitable.
Treatment modalities used are deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point release, stretching and Swedish massage.
Angie is an experienced and skilled massage therapist who has developed her practice over the last 12 years to assist people on their path to wellness in a supportive manner. She believes that the body wants to heal and loves supporting this process as her patients heal and move forward. She provides genuine holistic care customized to her clients’ individual needs within a calm and nurturing environment and looks for to assisting you in the enhancement of your health and wellbeing.
