Rachel Wilson
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Rachel is a Registered Massage Therapist graduating with academic honours from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC. She truly values the improvements to functional abilities and wellness massage can offer and looks forward to using her education to help her patients. Her passion to become a RMT began after she experienced enhanced wellbeing from massage following a sport injury requiring surgical repair.
Rachel thoroughly enjoys using her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics to help her patients maintain or regain optimal tissue health. By utilizing assessment and listening to her patients, Rachel aims to provide an effective massage to restore functional performance of soft tissues and healthy joint mobility. During assessment she investigates the body as a whole to find the root cause of your discomfort and enjoys using a variety of modalities in treatment tailored to her patient. She also takes delight educating her patients with tips on how to prolong the benefits of massage.
When Rachel is not in the clinic she enjoys keeping active by spending her time in the mountains hiking or skiing. She loves weight training and balances out her days with a little yoga or painting as well. As Rachel’s fascination with the human body grows she continues to expand her knowledge on human anatomy and the mechanics of movement.
